The Area Business Development Manager in the Agency Channel is responsible for driving business growth within an assigned area by developing and managing a network of high-performing agents.

This role requires a strategic approach to agent recruitment, training, and development to ensure sales targets are met and sustained.

Jobs Responsibilities:

  •  Recruit, onboard, and train a team of agents to drive business growth in the assigned area.
  • Develop strategies to increase agent productivity and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Provide regular coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to agents to ensure optimal results.
  • Track market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support agents in achieving their sales objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, processes, and compliance standards in all sales activities.

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • 3-9 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally in the insurance sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing a high-performing team.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop strategies to drive business growth.
