Position Summary:
We are seeking a result-oriented and experienced Channel Sales Manager to lead business growth through the Agency Channel. This role involves building a strong advisor base, driving sales performance, ensuring operational excellence, and developing a high-performance sales network in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Development: Identify, recruit, and activate high-potential insurance advisors/agents from the local market
Sales Management: Drive life insurance sales through the advisor network to achieve monthly and annual business targets
Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and manage advisors to ensure high productivity and retention
Joint Field Work: Support agents with field sales activities, customer meetings, and closure of leads
Market Expansion: Explore new geographies, conduct promotional activities, and increase channel penetration
Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze agent performance, implement corrective actions where needed
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards; submit timely reports on sales activities
Candidate Profile:
Bachelor’s degree (required)
3–6 years of relevant experience in channel sales, agency management, or B2C field sales (insurance/BFSI preferred)
Proven ability to lead teams and achieve sales targets
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
Strong knowledge of local market dynamics
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area
