Job Summary:
An Area Sales Officer is responsible for managing and growing sales within a designated geographic territory. This role involves acquiring new customers, promoting financial products insurance, cards, or other policies, meeting sales targets, and coordinating with branch staff or channel partners.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Generate leads, follow up, and ensure timely closure of sales.
- Work closely with internal teams such as credit, operations, and customer service.
- Maintain updated records in CRM or reporting tools.
- Participate in sales campaigns, exhibitions, or local events to boost brand visibility.
- Report market trends, competitor activities, and feedback to the sales manager.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly insurance sales targets through the assigned channel.
- Visit assigned bank branches regularly to build rapport and drive daily business.
- Conduct joint customer meetings with team to pitch suitable insurance solutions.
- Maintain MIS reports and update lead status regularly.
- Ensure policy issuance, documentation, and customer service are handled smoothly.
Eligibility Criteria:
Minimum 1 year of experience in sales required
Minimum qualification required is completion of graduation.
Required all semester marksheets.
Required all previously employed company experience certificate (Mandatory for experienced person)
Preferred local candidate.
