Job Description
Unit Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth by recruiting, training, and leading a team of sales advisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, and train sales executives/agents/advisors.
- Motivate the team to achieve sales goals and ensure high productivity.
- Conduct regular sales training, coaching, and performance reviews.
- Drive Service penetration through active customer engagement.
- Identify new markets and customer segments.
- Build strong relationships with customers and channel partners.
- Implement corrective actions wherever needed.
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and product updates.
- Contribute ideas to enhance sales strategies and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Key Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent.
- 2–5+ years of sales experience in insurance, BFSI, telecom, FMCG, or similar domains.
- Experience in team handling or leadership role preferred.
- Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Good sales closing, negotiation, and customer handling skills.
- Target‑oriented mindset with high self‑motivation.
- Understanding of sales metrics and forecasting.
