Job Description
The Business Development Manager is responsible for expanding the company’s footprint within the Indian life insurance agency channel. This role involves identifying, recruiting, and developing strategic partnerships with agencies to drive sales growth and market penetration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential agency partners aligned with the company’s business objectives.
• Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance agency productivity and performance.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to agency partners, addressing their needs and concerns.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support of agency initiatives.
Requirements :
• Proven track record in business development and sales within the Indian life insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of the agency distribution model and its dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
