Job Description

A Sales Officer in the bank is responsible for acquiring new customers and cross-selling banking products to existing clients. They must meet sales targets, provide excellent customer service, and ensure compliance with banking regulations.

Key Responsibilities: 

Identify and approach potential customers, convert leads into active clients.
Reaching sales targets for banking products, with a particular emphasis on current and savings accounts.
Explain features and benefits of various banking products.
Recommend suitable accounts, loans, credit cards, and investment options.
Achieve and exceed sales goals, report sales performance to the manager.
Ensure adherence to banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
Maintain accurate records for customer interactions and sales activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
Previous sales experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Three to six years of experience selling, ideally in banking or finance.
Proficiency in MS Office and banking software.
