Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and strategic Area Sales Manager to lead sales operations in Mysuru. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of field sales experience, preferably in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance), FMCG, Retail, or B2B sales. This role involves team management, revenue generation, and business expansion within the assigned territory.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of sales executives to achieve business objectives.
Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market reach and increase revenue.
Identify and acquire new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring consistent team performance and goal achievement.
Conduct sales training, meetings, and performance evaluations for the sales team.
Guide the team in lead generation, client acquisition, and deal closure.
Ensure customer retention, satisfaction, and timely follow-ups.
Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to optimize sales strategies.
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to enhance business processes.
Travel within Mysuru and surrounding areas to strengthen client relationships and explore new opportunities.
Candidate Profile:
Minimum 2 years of field sales experience, preferably in BFSI, FMCG, Retail, or B2B sales.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Experience in team management, business development, and customer acquisition.
Self-motivated, result-driven, and proactive in sales growth.
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel extensively within Mysuru and surrounding regions.
