Job role:
The Assistant Sales Manager supports the Sales Manager in driving sales growth, managing a sales team, and maintaining key customer relationships. This role involves overseeing sales operations, assisting in strategy development, ensuring target achievement, and providing guidance to the sales team.
Key skills:
- Train, mentor, and guide new sales team members.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to the Sales Manager and other stakeholders.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and industry developments.
- Monitor sales forecasts and adjust strategies to ensure targets are achieved.
- Support the Sales Manager in overseeing day-to-day sales.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2-3 years in sales, with experience in managing or supporting a sales team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
