Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly driven and results-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to join our team in Shimoga. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of field sales experience, with a minimum of 1 year in the life insurance sector. This role involves leading a sales team, driving revenue growth, and developing strong customer relationships.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of sales executives/agents to achieve business targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Identify and acquire new customers through field sales efforts.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure customer retention.
- Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team to enhance their productivity.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and suggest improvements.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, training programs, and field coaching.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sales practices.
- Provide timely reports and updates to senior management.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 3 years of field sales experience, with at least 1 year in life insurance sales.
- Strong team management, leadership, and motivational skills.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to train and develop a sales team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within Shimoga and nearby regions for business growth.
