Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and target-driven Assistant Sales Manager to join our team in Davangere. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of field sales experience, including a minimum of 1 year in the life insurance sector. This role involves leading a sales team, acquiring new clients, and driving revenue growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of sales executives/agents to achieve sales targets.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth.
- Identify and acquire new customers through direct and field sales efforts.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and business partners.
- Provide training, mentorship, and motivation to the sales team to enhance productivity.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and implement improvements.
- Conduct regular meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sales practices.
- Prepare and submit sales reports and performance insights to senior management.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 3 years of field sales experience, with at least 1 year in life insurance sales.
- Strong team leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to train, develop, and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within Davangere and nearby regions for business development.
