Job Description

Unit Sales Manager (Agency Channel) – Insurance Sector, India 

Role: Oversee and manage a specific geographic unit within the agency channel, ensuring that sales targets are met, and agent performance is optimized.

Responsibilities: 
• Recruit, train, and develop a team of agents within the assigned unit.
• Set and monitor sales targets for individual agents and the unit.
• Provide coaching, support, and motivation to agents.
• Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions.
• Identify and address performance issues within the team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with agents and customers.
• Represent the company at local events and community gatherings.
• Analyze sales data and identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop and implement localized sales strategies and plans.

Requirements: 
• bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
• Proven experience in insurance sales, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of the Indian insurance market and regulatory environment.
