Job Description

Job Title: Area Sales Manager – FMCG

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of sales executives working in field or direct sales
  • Assign daily sales targets and guide the team to achieve them
  • Train new team members on product knowledge and selling skills
  • Monitor team performance and support with on-ground challenges
  • Ensure daily reporting and sales updates are shared on time
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and plan strategy
  • Solve customer issues when escalated by team members
  • Work closely with area or regional managers to meet company goals

Candidate Profile:

  • 2–4 years of experience in sales, with at least 1 year of team management
  • Graduate in any discipline
  • Good leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and mentor a team
  • Comfortable with data tracking and basic reporting
  • Willing to travel for field visits when needed
  • Strong focus on results and customer satisfaction
