Job Description
Job Title: Area Sales Manager – FMCG
Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of sales executives working in field or direct sales
- Assign daily sales targets and guide the team to achieve them
- Train new team members on product knowledge and selling skills
- Monitor team performance and support with on-ground challenges
- Ensure daily reporting and sales updates are shared on time
- Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and plan strategy
- Solve customer issues when escalated by team members
- Work closely with area or regional managers to meet company goals
Candidate Profile:
- 2–4 years of experience in sales, with at least 1 year of team management
- Graduate in any discipline
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and mentor a team
- Comfortable with data tracking and basic reporting
- Willing to travel for field visits when needed
- Strong focus on results and customer satisfaction
