Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager in a banking branch plays a critical role in managing day-to-day operations, driving sales, and maintaining customer relationships. The position involves overseeing branch staff, ensuring compliance with banking regulations, and meeting branch targets for customer acquisition and product sales.

Key Responsibilities:
– Branch Operations: Supervise daily operations of the branch, ensuring smooth functioning and efficient service delivery to customers.
– Sales Management: Drive sales of banking products like Savings Accounts, Current Accounts, loans, and credit cards to meet branch sales targets.
– Team Leadership: Lead and manage the sales team by setting goals, providing training, and tracking performance.
– Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key customers and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
– Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all branch operations comply with regulatory requirements, banking policies, and risk management standards.
– Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional financial products like insurance, mutual funds, and loans.

Requirements:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
– Experience: 3-5 years of experience in banking or financial services, with at least 1-2 years in a sales or servise role.
– Skills:Strong leadership and team management abilities.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Sound knowledge of banking products and services (CASA, loans, credit cards, etc.).
– Ability to analyze data and generate insights for performance improvement.
