Job Description
Join our Howrah team as a Business Development Manager (BDM) and lead life insurance sales through the agency channel. This role is focused on recruiting, training, and managing insurance advisors while building a strong local sales network in one of Kolkata’s key zones.
Key Responsibilities
– Appoint, train, and manage a team of life insurance advisors in the Howrah region
– Develop territory-specific sales strategies to meet monthly and quarterly goals
– Guide advisors with product training, joint field visits, and closing techniques
– Track and report field activity, business performance, and advisor engagement
– Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and ensure policy renewals
Candidate Requirements
– Graduation (any discipline – mandatory)
– Minimum 2 years of experience in field sales (Insurance/BFSI preferred)
– Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
– Familiarity with Howrah/Kolkata market and local networks
– Language proficiency in Bengali, Hindi, or English
