Role Overview
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales operations across a defined geographical area. The role involves team management, driving business targets, and building long-term customer and partner relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of sales executives or channel partners.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the assigned area.
  • Develop territory-wise sales strategies and monitor implementation.
  • Conduct regular field visits to ensure team productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle client escalations, support acquisition of new clients, and retain existing ones.
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare periodic reports on performance, forecasts, and improvement plans.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (marketing, logistics, etc.) for smooth operations.

    Requirements:

  • Proven track record in sales leadership or territory sales roles.
  • Experience in managing a team or distribution network.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and people-management skills.
  • Good understanding of local geography and market dynamics.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
