Job Description
A Regional Sales Manager in the BFSI sector is a mid-to-senior level role responsible for managing sales operations across a defined geographical region, which could encompass multiple cities, districts, or states. The RSM oversees a team of Area Sales Managers, Sales Executives, or Channel Managers to ensure sales targets are achieved and business grows sustainably in their region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales managers and representatives within the region.
- Develop regional sales strategies aligned with overall company objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities, customer segments, and partnerships in the region.
- Track sales performance metrics, analyze trends, and report to higher management.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in sales and Marketing.
- The ideal age range is 24-40 years old.
- Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Goal-oriented with the ability to manage a team.
