The Sales Development Manager in the Agency Channel is responsible for driving business growth in a designated region by recruiting, developing, and managing a team of high-performing agents. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, mentoring agents, and identifying growth opportunities to enhance business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, onboard, and train a team of agents to drive business growth within the assigned area.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase agent productivity and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Provide continuous coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to agents to ensure consistent performance.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to uncover new opportunities for business growth.
- Work closely with internal teams to support agents in achieving their sales goals.
- Ensure agents adhere to company policies, processes, and compliance standards in all sales activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 3-9 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within the insurance sector.
- Proven success in meeting sales targets and managing a high-performing team.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and develop strategies that drive business growth.
