The Area Business Development Manager in the Agency Channel is responsible for fostering business growth within a designated region by building and managing a network of high-performing agents. This position demands a strategic focus on agent recruitment, training, and development to consistently achieve and sustain sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, onboard, and train agents to drive business growth in the assigned area.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance agent productivity and meet monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure optimal results from agents.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support agents in achieving their sales targets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and regulatory standards in all sales operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • 3-9 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the insurance sector.
  • Proven success in meeting sales targets and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Competence in data analysis and strategy formulation to drive growth.
