Job Description

Unit Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth by recruiting, training, and leading a team of sales advisors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, onboard, and train sales executives/agents/advisors.
  • Motivate the team to achieve sales goals and ensure high productivity.
  • Conduct regular sales training, coaching, and performance reviews.
  • Drive Service penetration through active customer engagement.
  • Identify new markets and customer segments.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and channel partners.
  • Implement corrective actions wherever needed.
  • Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and product updates.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance sales strategies and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Key Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • 2–5+ years of sales experience in insurance, BFSI, telecom, FMCG, or similar domains.
  • Experience in team handling or leadership role preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Good sales closing, negotiation, and customer handling skills.
  • Target‑oriented mindset with high self‑motivation.
  • Understanding of sales metrics and forecasting.
