Sales Officer

Job Description

We are hiring a motivated and result-oriented Sales Officer to join our expanding agency channel in Arambagh. This is a field-based, full-time on-roll position focused on developing a high-performing advisor team and achieving business goals in the life insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities: 
– Sales Target Achievement: Achieve monthly sales targets through advisor performance and personal engagement.
Advisor Recruitment: Source and onboard qualified life insurance advisors from the local area.
– Training & Development: Guide advisors through product training, compliance, and market pitch strategies.
– Customer Acquisition: Drive customer outreach and lead conversion through field campaigns and advisor support.
– Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with clients and advisors to ensure persistency and renewals.
– Reporting & Planning: Monitor field activity, advisor productivity, and prepare weekly reports for review.
– Sales Strategy Execution: Align with company goals while executing local strategies that match Arambagh’s market needs.
– After-Sales Support: Ensure timely issue resolution, claims support, and ongoing policy servicing.

Required Skills: 
– Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
– Strong negotiation and closing abilities
– Knowledge of sales techniques, field prospecting, and goal setting
– Basic data analysis for performance review
– Well-organized, self-motivated, and driven to exceed goals
– Comfort with field work and advisor management

Eligibility Criteria: 
– Qualification: Graduate (any stream) – Mandatory
– Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 year in sales (Insurance, BFSI, FMCG preferred)
– Age: 22 to 40 years
– Location: Must be based in or near Arambagh
