A Senior Agency Manager is a mid-to-senior level position in the agency distribution channel of an insurance company. This role involves leading a team of insurance agents, driving sales targets, ensuring agent productivity, and playing a key role in agent recruitment and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of life or general insurance products through the agency force.
- Track agent activity, performance, and productivity metrics.
- Improve persistency, upselling, and cross-selling capabilities.
- Ensure all sales and documentation comply with IRDAI guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in any field of study.
- Sales and marketing experience of two or more years.
- The ideal age range is between 24 and 40 years.
- Strong communication, leadership, and negotiating abilities.
- Goal-oriented and able to manage a team.
