Job Description

Job Description: Unit Sales Manager (Agency Channel) – Insurance Sector, India 
Role: Oversee and manage a specific geographic unit within the agency channel, ensuring that sales targets are met and agent performance is optimized.

Responsibilities: 
Recruit, train, and develop a team of agents within the assigned unit.
Set and monitor sales targets for individual agents and the unit as a whole.
Provide coaching, support, and motivation to agents.
Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions.
Identify and address performance issues within the team.
Build and maintain strong relationships with agents and customers.
Represent the company at local events and community gatherings.
Analyze sales data and identify trends and opportunities.
Develop and implement localized sales strategies and plans.

Requirements: 
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
Proven experience in insurance sales, preferably in a leadership role.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of the Indian insurance market and regulatory environment.
