Job Description

Sales Development Representative

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for identifying and creating new business opportunities by reaching out to potential clients. This role typically serves as the first point of contact in the sales process, working closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure a steady flow of qualified leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify potential customers through various channels such as cold calling, email outreach, and social media.
  • Qualifying Leads: Assess prospects’ needs and determine their suitability as potential clients.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings between qualified leads and sales executives to facilitate further discussions.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and update records of interactions with prospects using CRM software.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to refine lead generation strategies and share insights on market trends.

Requirement 

  • Experience: 2+ years in sales or customer service, preferably in a similar role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
