Job Description
By effectively managing and supporting the sales team, the Direct Sales Manager will oversee and guide a group of direct sales agents in the agency channel, with an emphasis on meeting sales goals and fostering business expansion.
Responsibilities :
• Assemble, educate, and oversee a group of direct sales representatives.
• Create and put into action plans to meet sales goals.
• Monitor sales activity and performance of the sales team.
• Continue to mentor and support sales representatives.
• Verify adherence to rules and policies of the company.
Requirements
• A bachelor’s degree
• One to two years of sales management experience, ideally in the insurance industry.
• Proven ability to manage a team and exercise leadership.
• Excellent sales acumen and result-orientedness.
• Understanding of the insurance industry in India.
