Unit Sales Representative

The Unit Sales Representative is responsible for managing a team of sales agents or advisors in a designated unit within the insurance sector. The role involves driving the sales of insurance products (life, health, general, etc.), overseeing the team’s performance, and ensuring that sales targets are met while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

KEY ROLES-

  • Lead, guide, and supervise a team of insurance agents to achieve sales targets and performance goals.
  • Set clear, achievable sales goals for the unit and ensure that these targets are met or exceeded.
  • Provide continuous coaching and development for agents, ensuring they are up-to-date with product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance regulations.
  • Track and evaluate individual and team sales performance using CRM tools and sales data.
  • Assist agents in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure that all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the customer base in the designated unit by exploring new sales channels and networks.

 

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS-

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales
  • Local preferable
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and closing abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of insurance products and the industry.
