Area Sales Officer

Job Description

The Area Sales Officer (ASO) will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing performance in a specific geographic region. This role includes recruiting and training agents, developing sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement local sales strategies to meet targets.
• Recruit, train, and provide ongoing support to agents.
• Conduct field visits to monitor agent performance and provide coaching.
• Analyze market trends and identify sales opportunities.
• Execute marketing promotions to boost sales.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients.

Requirements:

• 1 to 5 years of proven sales experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the Indian insurance market and regulations.
• Must be based locally.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
