Job Description
A Business Development Manager (BDM) – Sales is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and expanding market presence. In industries like BFSI, IT, FMCG, or any B2B sales sector, this role focuses on prospecting, relationship-building, strategic planning, and achieving sales targets through new client acquisition and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track team performance, prepare sales reports, and share updates with the Sales Manager.
- Engage with key clients directly and help close high-value deals or complex cases.
- Assist in managing a team of sales officers or advisors; help with onboarding, training, and field support.
- Help implement regional or branch-level sales plans to meet monthly/quarterly targets.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in sales and Marketing.
- The ideal age range is 24-40 years old.
- Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Goal-oriented with the ability to manage a team.
